- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 3 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Tiny pinch flaky sea salt
- ΒΌ teaspoon Optional: freeze-dried strawberry powder for extra flavor and color
Roast the strawberries:
Preheat oven to 375Β°F.
Spread diced strawberries onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Roast for 18β20 minutes until soft, jammy, and slightly caramelized.
Let cool completely.
Whip the butter:
In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter for 2β3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add honey, powdered sugar, vanilla, and sea salt.
Beat again until smooth.
. Fold everything together:
- The butter color deepens after chilling.
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder is optional but makes the flavor taste extra bakery-style.
