serving bowl
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ cups chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for a little kick
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Add the sour cream and mayonnaise and mix until creamy.
Stir in the chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors can blend together.
Garnish with extra sliced green onions before serving.
- Fresh green onions are the star of this recipe, so use crisp, bright bunches for the best flavor.
- If your onions are especially strong, soak the sliced onions in cold water for 10 minutes before adding them to the dip.
- A squeeze of fresh lemon brightens the entire dip without making it taste lemony.
