Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Fork or Potato Masher:
  • Citrus Juicer or Reamer
  • Sharp Chef’s Knife

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato, diced (optional if you like it chunkier)
  • 1 small red onion, finely diced
  • 1-2 jalapeños (seeded for less heat, leave seeds for a kick)
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2-3 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (or ½ teaspoon garlic powder if you prefer)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mash the avocados in a medium bowl until creamy but still a little chunky.
  • Add the lime juice right away – this keeps the guacamole fresh and zesty.
  • Stir in onion, jalapeño, tomato, garlic, and cilantro. Mix gently so it stays chunky.
  • Season with salt and black pepper, taste, then adjust lime or salt as needed.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for just about anything.
