Homemade Barbeque Sloppy Joes

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 4 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 4 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 good quality rolls such as kaiser
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, break up and brown beef until there is no longer any pink. Add the onion and cook until softened for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
While the meat is simmering, butter and toast the rolls.
When ready, give each toasty roll a nice big helping of meat. After all, they are called sloppy joes!!
