Red White and Blue Firecracker puppy chow
This Red, White & Blue Puppy Chow is a festive no-bake snack made with Chex cereal, white chocolate, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and patriotic candies. It's the perfect sweet treat for Fourth of July parties and summer celebrations! ❤️🤍💙

Ingredients
- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries, lightly crushed
- ½ cup freeze-dried blueberries, lightly crushed
- ½ cup red, white, and blue M&M's
- ¼ cup red, white, and blue star sprinkles
- ¼ cup red, white, and blue candy pearls (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional, but highly recommended)
Instructions
- Place the Rice Chex cereal into a very large mixing bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely smooth.Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the warm mixture over the cereal.Using a rubber spatula, gently fold until every piece is evenly coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag or container with a lid.Add the powdered sugar.Seal and shake until every piece is completely coated.
- Spread onto parchment paper and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.

Notes
- Don't overmix or the cereal will break.
- Let it cool completely before adding the candies so they don't melt.
- Crush the freeze-dried fruit into small pieces instead of powder for extra bursts of flavor.
- Shake the powdered sugar while the coating is still warm for the best coverage.
