Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Garlicky and buttery bite sized steak that are packed with so much flavor with very little prep time.
Equipment
- 1 large skillet
- 1 spatula or tongs to toss beef.
- 1 slow cooker
- 1 chef's knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 garlic press.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 pounds sirloin steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 garlic cloves
- 10.5 oz can beef consume
- pinch red pepper flakes
Instructions
- 1. Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium high heat.
- 2. Generously season with salt and pepper and add to skillet making sure the skillet is good and hot.
- 3. Get a good sear on all sides until you get a beautiful golden brown color.
- 4. Transfer the steak bites to the slow cooker.
- 5. Add the butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes to the same skillet and cook until the garlic and red pepper become aromatic.
- 6. Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites, toss and add the beef consume.
- 7. Cook on low for about 8 hours or until fork tender. The longer it cooks, the more tender it becomes.
