Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and sprinkle the brown sugar over the melted butter.
Make sure the brown sugar is completely dissolved and you have a smooth consistecy.
Pour the mixture into a 9 inch round pan. Arrange peach slices in a circular single layer on top of the brown sugar around the perimeter of the pan. (See picture above)
In a large bowl, prepare the cake mix according to the package directions.
Gently pour the cake batter over the peaches and smooth the top.
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Place a serving plate upside down over the pan and flip to release the cake.
Slice, serve warm, and accept compliments graciously.
