Crockpot Angel Chicken
This creamy and dreamy Angel Chicken will be a soon to be family favorite.Cook in the crockpot for about 8 hours and serve over a bed of angel hair pasta. Delightful!!
Equipment
- 1 crock pot
- 1 ladle
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 Whisk
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breast
- 3 garlic cloves can be chopped or left whole.
- 10.5 oz golden mushroom soup
- ½ cup chicken stock white wine can also be used.
- 4 oz chive cream cheese
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 0.6 oz Italian dressing mix
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
Instructions
- 1. Spray the inside of a crockpot with cooking spray
- 2. Add the chicken
- 3. Add the garlic
- 4. In the the microwave, soften the butter and cream cheese. ( Do not melt completely)
- 5. Whisk until smooth
- 6. Add the mushroom soup and continue to whisk.
- 7. Add the Italian dressing mix and chicken stock or white wine and continue to whisk until well blended.
- 8. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Prepare the angel hair pasta as instructed on the box. Serve the chicken over the pasta. Enjoy!!
Notes
Mushrooms are a nice addition to this dish.
