Hot Honey Chicken Sandwiches
This mouthwatering sandwich features juicy grilled chicken slathered in a sweet and spicy honey barbeque sauce. Nestled in a soft toasted bun, topped with crisp pickles, lettuce, juicy tomato and red onion, delivers a perfect balance of spicy, sweet and savory flavors that do not disappoint.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- ½ cup barbeque sauce
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 good quality hamburger rolls
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, mix together the barbeque sauce, hot sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and salt and pepper. Set aside about a quarter cup of marinade for basting during the grilling.
- 2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken, making sure it's evenly coated.
- 3. Let the chicken marinate in the fridge overnight
- 4. Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- 5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
- 6. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature is 165 degrees F.
- 7. Baste the chicken with the marinade that was set aside during the last few minutes of grilling.
- 8. Take the chicken off of the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- 9. While the chicken rests, toast the buns. Add a small amount of butter to the inside of the rolls and toast to desired doneness.
- 10. Assemble the chicken sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, or other desired toppings. Enjoy!!

We used some hot honey sauce that we just picked up at the grocery store for added flavor and it was delish!!! I hope you enjoy the recipe!
