Pineapple Mango Salsa
Pineapple Mango Salsa is a fresh and flavorful combination of sweet pineapple, juicy mango, and zesty lime, making it the perfect dip or topping for any Mexican or Caribbean dish. This colorful salsa is easy to make and perfect for parties or as a summer treat.
Equipment
- 1 Medium or Large Bowl
- 1 large spoon
- 1 sharp knife
- 1 cutting board
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh mango diced
- 1 cup fresh pineapple diced
- ½ red bell pepper diced
- ¼ red onion finely chopped
- 1 minced Jalapeno Seeds and membranes removed for a milder salsa
- fresh cilantro
- juice of 1 lime
- salt to taste
Instructions
- 1. In a medium bowl, Combine the diced pineapple, mango, bell pepper, onion, and jalepeno.
- 2. Add the chopped cilantro and lime juice to the bowl.
- 3. Season with salt to taste and gently mix together until combined.
- 4. Let the salsa sit for about 10-15 minutes to allow thise wonderful flavors to meld together.
- 5. Enjoy with tortilla chips, fish or chicken.
Notes
- This pineapple mango salsa can also be served over grilled pork chops.
- Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container for about 3 days.
