Easy Watergate Salad Recipe
This popular dish from the 1970's will be a hit at your next family gathering or potluck. This sweet, fluffy, dessert salad is beautiful as it is delicious with it's vibrant green color and soft and crunchy texture will satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. Enjoy chilled!
Equipment
- mixing bowl
- whisk or spoon
- measuring cups
- Spatula folding in the whipped cream
- serving dish to present the salad
Ingredients
- 1 4 oz box instant pistachio pudding
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 16 oz whipped topping
- ½ cop chopped pecans
Instructions
- Make the instant pudding as directed on the box
- Drain the pineapple and set aside
- Add the cup of marshmallows and pineapple to the pudding
- Gently fold in the whipped topping. Do not over mix.
- Chill for 1 hour and enjoy!
